Korean students of Claremont School of Theology (CST) gathered at Kresge Chapel on Sep. 27 for the Opening Worship Service of new semester.

Twice at every semester, KSA of CST has gathered for worship service and on-going friendship. These gatherings have played a significant role of encouraging one another in the journey of theological training. Without exception, One of the Korean Alumni pastors, who are in ministry for Korean-American churches, have been invited as a guest speaker in order to share practical messages which are not only helpful for potential pastors but also challenging for those who contribute themselves to transformation toward

Rev. Younggak Shin, who is the senior pastor at Wilshire United Methodist Church, shared the message of “You, a person of God!” based on 1 Timothy 6:11-16 with his academic experience at CST. Rev. Dr. Sheryl Kujawa-Holbrook (Vice president of CST) attended together and celebrated the gathering of KSA and the brilliant development that each Korean student has achieved at CST. The most impressive thing is that various CST students have attended in this worship service year by year. This truly represents a change into a multi-ethnic/cultural gathering beyond language limitation.
