Hi! My name is Abigail Claughs. I am preparing to be an interreligious chaplain, ordained in the Unitarian Universalist tradition, a calling I discerned while learning at Claremont School of Theology.

Claremont School of Theology (CST) empowered me to think, question, and develop. It opened up possibilities and the opportunity to know and understand different identities and love them.

My M.Div. exposed me to several traditions in different ways – through spiritual care classes, spiritual formation, hospital spiritual care work, social justice and systems awareness, and self-work.

I’m drawn to connecting with other people on the soul level. It’s beautiful, justice-oriented, and life affirming–all woven together.

A great theological education dismantles everything you assumed to be “right” and helps you rebuild with true understanding. My CST experience was life-altering. I am changed and on fire to transform the world.
