Community. Advocacy. Engagement. Service. Social Justice. Each of these words is more than a concept at Claremont School of Theology. It is a way of life.

Our students, faculty, staff, alumni/ae, and supporters know this but it’s always nice to be recognized by others. The Center for Faith and Service (CFS) included CST among its list of Seminaries that Change the World for 2016 – 2017. Our Profile of Service and Justice is on pages 28 – 31 in the PDF we’ve provided here. This provides a thorough, to-the-point summary of who we are and where we are creating a difference for the world we live in. Special thanks to our profiled graduates, Chaplains Mir Ali and Abigail Barash, Class of 2015.

“Our students, graduates, staff, and faculty are wired for compassionate leadership,” said CST President, the Rev. Dr. Kah-Jin Jeffrey Kuan. “They are involved in the daily struggles for peace, justice, and equality, especially for marginalized communities. I am so honored to help lead Claremont School of Theology and have no doubt we will make the CFS 2017 – 2018 class of Seminaries that Change the World, because we do, every day.”
