Tomeka Jacobs, PhD, and I am a proud graduate of the Doctor of Philosophy in Practical Theology program, where I specialized in Education and Formation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Currently, I serve as the Assistant Professor of Theology at St. Catherine University in St. Paul, Minnesota. I also recently celebrated a major milestone with the publication of my book, <em>Ecocosmological Spirituality of Southern Queer Black Women: (Re)Membering and Reconnecting Identity<\/em>, in August 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Reflecting on my education, <strong>CST prepared me to navigate an interdisciplinary and plural world with a mindset rooted in compassion and critical analysis<\/strong>. I wish more people knew that CST is not a traditional seminary or theological school. Rather, it is a refuge for those seeking safety from harm while divesting from toxicity and the complacency that comes with upholding the patriarchy.
