These options include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>LA Area-Residency:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This learning experience integrates intensive and weekly On Campus (in-person) learning with some online (synchronous or asynchronous)\u00a0 learning. At least 50% of courses that La Area-residency students register for each semester must include On Campus learning. Students who attend CST as LA Area-residency students must live in close enough proximity to the CST Campus in Los Angeles to attend On Campus classes one to three days per week. <\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><em style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: <\/em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>CST does not maintain its own residence hall or student housing. This modality is available for both full-time and part-time students.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Distance Education:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> This completely online program allows students to participate in classes either synchronously or asynchronously. This modality is available for both full-time and part-time students.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Currently, <a href=\"https:\/\/cst.edu\/ko\/graduate-degree-programs-online-hybrid-remote-learning-parttime\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-uw-rm-brl=\"PR\" data-uw-original-href=\"https:\/\/cst.edu\/graduate-degree-programs-online-hybrid-remote-learning-parttime\/\" aria-label=\"all of CST\u2019s degree programs - open in a new tab\" data-uw-rm-ext-link=\"\">all of CST\u2019s degree programs<\/a> can be completed through any of these delivery modes, with these exceptions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\uadf8 <strong>PhDs<\/strong> <strong>must be completed either through LA Area-Residency or Low-Residency modality<\/strong>. Includes additional online instruction before or after the Intensive Week, either\u00a0 asynchronously (using the Populi learning management system or similar technology), or additionally scheduled synchronous (Zoom) class meetings. Students attend intensive classes in one of the following modes:<\/span>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On Campus:<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Classes are held in classrooms on the CST campus in Los Angeles. Students attend classes in-person at the CST campus. On campus intensive classes may be \u201chyflex\u201d classes, and include students who are attending synchronously via Zoom.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"2\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Synchronous:<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Classes are held on Zoom. Students do not have to come to the CST campus but attend by logging into the Zoom class meeting from wherever they are in the world. Synchronous intensive classes may be \u201chyflex\u201d classes, and include students who are attending the class in-person from the CST campus in Los Angeles\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><b>Weekly: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Classes are scheduled at the same time and day each week.
