The world seems to be passing through the darkness now. Due to the pandemic, the economy and politics are affected, our daily lives are affected, and our souls seem to be shaded. The Bible tells us to
\nalways rejoice, pray continually, and give thanks in all circumstances. Yet, our world is full of challenges that are not easy to live such a life.<\/p>\n

In this situation, where does the light of hope come from? When we look at the Bible and history testify, the light of the gospel shines more when the world is dark. The bright and warm story of Jesus’ birth is the story of God in the cold and dark world. The church is the messenger and passage of God in the world to convey this light of hope and warmth of love. These days, churches are facing many challenges. Some people even have a pessimistic outlook on how many churches will survive after COVID-19.<\/p>\n

But what we have to remember is that suffering has always been an opportunity to separate weeds from the wheat. Our mission is to pray more at times like this and do our best to make the church a community with vitality. And Claremont School of Theology is at the forefront of such efforts. Theological schools are responsible for fostering future church leaders to achieve this mission and providing a way for our church of the world.<\/p>\n

I appeal to you to cooperate to help Claremont School of Theology meet this mission through prayer, sponsorship, and intimate relationships. Our circumstances are all difficult, but at times, we have a mission to work harder and help the school. The scholarships we appear in are used to cover the full tuition so that students attending Claremont School of Theology, especially Korean students enrolled in the M.Div. program under the mission of the ministry, can study without worrying about tuition.<\/p>\n

The good news for churches and believers in California and Hawaii is that Claremont School of Theology, which was trying to move to Oregon, decided to remain in its current location. There must have been many twists and turns before revising the plan, though. I believe that God’s grace for achieving good in everything has also made this decision. Please understand the circumstances the school is facing, love, support, and pray harder than before.<\/p>\n
