It is with both joy and sadness that I announce Dean Belva Brown Jordan has resigned from Claremont School of Theology to become Interim President of the Disciples Seminary Foundation. While we will miss Dean Jordan at CST, we celebrate that she will continue to be our colleague at DSF.
Dean Jordan joined CST in August 2013 as the Associate Dean for Curriculum and Assessment and Associate Professor of the Practice of Ministry, and has been valued and highly respected by students, faculty and administrators. “We deeply appreciate the many contributions Dean Jordan has made to the school, and we look forward to our continuing work with her as she moves to a new leadership role with our partner DSF,” said Dr. Sheryl Kujawa-Holbrook, Vice President of Academic Affairs and Dean of the Faculty.
Arrangements to cover her administrative responsibilities at CST are in process. In her new role, Dean Jordan will continue to teach and be involved in the academic affairs of the school, and will be a part of the DSF presence in Salem.
We at CST wish our valued partners, Dean Jordan and DSF, all the best in the future!
Blessings to all,
Rev. Dr. Kah-jin Jeffrey Kuan,
