Welcome! CST’s commencement ceremony will be held in-person on our Westwood Campus on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM PST (Click here for directions). Graduates will be expected to get to the ceremony earlier that day to prepare and will be sent an itinerary in the weeks to come. We hope you’ll join us to mark this academic milestone.

DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND?

Yes. To ensure adequate seating and comfort of guests and participants, CST needs to monitor and plan for the number of people in attendance. All graduates must reserve a ticket for themselves and their guests.

DO I HAVE TO WEAR A MASK OR SHOW PROOF OF VACCINATION?

At this time, masks are recommended but not required. Please note, we are closely monitoring CDC and state recommendations and will update our website if we make changes to these guidelines.

WILL I BE PHOTOGRAPHED IF I ATTEND IN-PERSON?

Claremont School of Theology makes periodic use of photographs taken during the commencement ceremony for promotional materials. By choosing to enter this area in person, you (and your guests) are giving Claremont School of Theology permission to use your photograph in materials that may be viewed by the general public. If you do not wish to have your picture taken, please notify the photographer

DO I NEED TO WEAR REGALIA?

Yes. If you would like to participate in the procession and be recognized on stage, we ask that you wear regalia. You may order it directly through Herff Jones no later than April 1, 2024 by visiting their website at collegegrad.herffjones.com. Simply type in the school name (“Claremont School of Theology”) and it will open available selections. Please note: After commencement, it is your responsibility to promptly return the rentals directly to Herff Jones.

SHOULD I ARRIVE EARLY?

Yes. Graduates will be asked to arrive early for class photos and instructions for lining up for the procession (details will be sent in the coming weeks). We also recommend that guests arrive early in anticipation of lines to enter the campus. Parking and seating are free; ticket reservations are required for seating.

DOES CST PROVIDE LODGING FOR OUT OF TOWN GRADUATES OR GUESTS?

While CST does not directly provide lodging for graduates or guests, we have secured reduced corporate rates at the Best Western Royal Palace Inn & Suites (2528 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064) 2.8 miles from campus.
