Karen Dalton

Dr. Dalton is a United Methodist pastor who has served congregations in Southern California. Her ministry included starting a new congregation and nurturing its growth and development. She has a passion for connecting theory and practice, a commitment that shapes her teaching. Her strongest interests are in leadership and spiritual formation, and she teaches in these areas along with directing the field education internship program. She has also taught interpersonal, small group, and organizational communication and has done consulting work in the areas of communication, team-building, and organization development. She is trained as a spiritual director. With Dr. Jack Jackson she co-directs the Center for Global Methodism, focusing especially on building support and community for Methodist students at Claremont.
