To educate is to inspire, and with the Education and Formation concentration your inspiration will be theologically centered.
By integrating theology with educational theory and practice, or combining education with the processes and perspectives of spiritual formation, students develop skills that expand our thinking and improve our practice in the field. And, through original research, your creativity and insights will fuel the development and evolution of your chosen vocation.
To focus your program of study, select from one of the three tracks in Education and Formation: Spiritual Formation, Religious Education, or Interreligious Education. If you have limited practical experience in the field you may be required to participate in a practicum or internship at the discretion of your advisor. Regardless, you will expand your boundaries, and the boundaries of the field.
