Rev. Dr. Sheryl Kujawa-Holbrook Receives Award from Archbishop of Canterbury
The Most Rev. Sarah Mullally, Archbishop of Canterbury, has presented The Reverend Dr. Sheryl A. Kujawa-Holbrook, Professor of Practical Theology & Christian Histories, with the Lanfranc Award for Education and Scholarship in a ceremony at Lambeth Palace.
The award recognizes Dr. Kujawa-Holbrook’s extraordinary contributions to theological education, academic leadership, and historical scholarship across the Anglican Communion. Presented to 27 distinguished individuals across five categories, the Lambeth Awards celebrate leaders who demonstrate “love in action” and bring hope to communities worldwide.
“The Lambeth Awards are an uplifting testament to the inspiring work being done across the Anglican Communion by theologians, scholars, and community advocates,” stated Archbishop Mullally. “I thank all of them for their tireless work.”
Dr. Kujawa-Holbrook joins a distinguished legacy of global honorees recognized for exceptional service to the Church and society, including Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and Pope Francis.
