City of Angels: Religion, History and Art in Los Angeles

An Intensive Experiential Learning Course Taught In-Person in Los Angeles

August 24-28 | Cost for Community Participants: $500

City of Angels will invite students into deep reflection and knowledge about the history, present, and future of religion and art in Los Angeles through experiential learning, reading, and community-engaged scholarship. Throughout the intensive week, we will visit religious sites and communities across Los Angeles that have spiritual and artistic significance to explore the impacts of art, design and ritual on one of America’s most diverse cities and on religion in the Americas more broadly.
